We have visited and stayed at Eden Nature Park and Resort a number of times now. I have traveled quite a bit in the US and here in the Philippines. There are few places (hotels included) I look forward to revisiting let alone stay over night. Eden is that kind of place.

This is a very beautiful park, and park is the best word to describe Eden. It is well maintained, the staff is very accommodating. The cottages are clean and set in one of the best settings in the park. So far the park has never been over crowed when we visit. My 4 year old daughter calls it our mountain home.

Those are the pros. Now for the cons. We never stay at the regular prices. Look for sales in the off seasons. It can be costly to get there. The roads are not always in good condition. The food is good but you want to make sure you get there right when the bell rings (figuratively speaking) or the food will be cold. Some of the trails are not maintained well and can be a little dangerous. Be prepared. although the Philippines has a constant temperature of 90 degrees, Eden is at the 3000' above sea level. It gets cold at night. The pool is not heated. If you don't know much about nature, the critters can be very loud late in the evening. If you are sensitive to chemical smells, you should bring your own linen and insist the resort staff does not leave any linen in the room at least the night before your stay. Yes, it is that strong. The cleaning staff soaks everything in fabric softener and it isn't rinsed out.

All in all it may seem like more cons then pros but I would give this resort at least 4 stars.
